I have a Chemical Engineering degree, a Masters in Economics, and an MBA though that should not impress you.

It would be dishonest for me to say you should listen to me because I had a great career.  My career was OK.  I worked in paper mills in engineering and management and did fine.  I sold to paper mills and to converters and did fine.  I was a co-owner in a company and guess what?  I did fine.  

I did fine but had no passion for what I was doing.  If not for earning potential, I would have majored in history.  

Starting in High School as a debater, I always followed the news in an excessive way.  

A little secret is my father told me years ago I should write a column because he thought I had something to say.  The English language was not my friend so that was scary and I never did it.

Well, the time is now.  I feel I have something to say that some may find interesting.
